A few weeks back I was in Miami enjoying the warm weather and Florida sun. I couldn't have asked for a get away with better friends. The purpose of the trip was to cheer on my friend Mike, who was running the ING Half Marathon, which really was an excuse for all of us girls to tag along! This was my first time in Miami vacationing and exceeded my expectations. The diversity of the people and style that floats through this city is absolutely breath taking. If this were to take place in another city people would look absolutely ridiculous, the difference is these people OWN their style and are confident about it! It might help people have so much money they don't know what to do with it!
We wined and dined, laid by the pool, paddle boarded our way along Coconut Grove, cruised on our bicycles, explored and shopped the city. This trip didn't seem like the normal vacation where you try and fit every little thing in. We relaxed, enjoyed each other's company and went where the wind took us. We stopped in at a little Mojito bar for my first Mojito experience and had to venture back another day they were so delicious! We fell in love with puppies, brought back planking and handstands, tried new things, and dared ourselves to go outside the box.
Mike I am so proud of you! Thank you for inviting us along the way. This was a trip to be put in the books! I can't wait for the next one!!! Miami, we might have said goodbye for now, but we will be back!
